ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jenny (Creech) Stacey graduated with honors from Macomb Community College with her first Associates in Art for Advertising (2010) and second in Creative Imaging & Illustration (2012). She is actively completing her Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design through Academy of Art University.

Passionate about the positive effects good design can have on small businesses, and knowing the power of emotional connection through art, Jenny has partnered her freelance skills with small businesses and nonprofits since establishing Midtone Art in 2010. Most notably, her employment as Manager of Galleries & Digital Media for Rochester's Paint Creek Center for the Arts (2017-2024) and her role as the Artist Liaison for the Art & Apples Festival (2017-present) allowed her to be fully immersed in the field she loves both as a graphic designer as well as an advocate for other artists. She has curated nearly forty contemporary fine art exhibitions through the on- and off-site galleries with PCCA,  and managed the daily operations of a Michigan-made artist market for over seven years. Her own artwork has been included in over fifteen juried group exhibitions and one solo display since she began showing in 2015.
